How the pick game works
- It's free, and you don't need to sign up: your first bet starts you off, and this browser remembers your balance. Subscribe, free, to keep it on any device, put your own name on the leaderboard and see your record.
- Every month you get $1,000 of play money. It isn't real money and can't be cashed out.
- To bet, open Bet the next card. Each fight has a moneyline (who wins), the method (a fighter to win by KO/TKO, submission or decision) and round totals (over or under a number of rounds). Tap prices to put them on your bet slip, choose an amount for each and place them. On the card's own page, Win $ under a fighter bets his moneyline straight away. Bet as many fights, as many times, as your balance covers.
- On the bet slip you can also join 2 to 4 picks from different fights into one parlay, at their prices multiplied together. It wins only if every pick wins; one losing pick loses it, and a refunded pick drops out while the rest still pay.
- You get the betting market's price at the moment you bet, and it stays yours if the line moves.
- Bets on a fight close when its part of the card, the prelims or the main card, starts. A placed bet can't be taken back.
- A win pays at your price, and a loss costs what you bet. A no contest or a fight that's called off gives your money back. In a draw, moneyline and method bets are refunded, and round totals count it as having gone the distance. A method bet is also refunded if the fight ends some other way, like a disqualification. Over 2.5 rounds means the fight is still going at 2:30 of round 3.
- A bet counts toward the month of the card it's on, and each month starts again at $1,000.
- The leaderboard ranks everyone by money once bets are settled. Money still riding on a fight counts for no one until it's decided. Tied players share a place, and each month's final table stays up.
- Your balance and open bets are on My bets, and once you've subscribed, your settled bets and record too. You must be 18 or older to play.
